From there, these stunning sofas are distributed to selected retailers throughout the world.

The solid wood frames are built from rubberwood that has been sourced from sustainable forests, and the frames are backed by a 10-year guarantee. Upholstery options include luxurious 100% premium natural leathers, featuring unique character marks, and a fabric library ranging from woolly bouclés to patterned velvets, allowing for a truely unique bespoke sofa.

Signature collections include “Bailey,” characterised by its effortlessly slouchy leather and contemporary vibe; “Hudson,” a characterful, classic sofa that evokes contemporary country style; and “Stax,” a Chesterfield style sofa with button backed detailing and timeless appeal. It is common to see deep buttoning, hand-turned legs, bold piping, and rich velvet colour combinations in Alexander & James sofas, armchairs, and footstools.
